The room was a wee bit snug, but shoot, I didn't spend much time in there anyway. The atmosphere was lively, and I loved how I was just a hop away from the old town. The staff were like old friends, makin' me feel at home, and that 24-hour reception is a lifesaver. Heard some good tunes outside, though it got a tad loud. Had a nice view from my little balcony where I sipped my morning coffee, just perfect!

Hotel is in the heart of the old town and looks out over the Place des Lices where there is a celebrated and colourful market on Saturdays. Metro station Ste-Anne 5 mins walk away, 3 stops from train station. Equally accessible on foot is shopping in town centre. Room spotless with all usual facilities and very comfortable bed. Staff friendly.

The hotel's proximity to the famous Lices market really enhances the local experience, and I enjoyed waking up to the market atmosphere.
Noise from nearby bars during the nighttime could be disruptive, making it hard to get a good night's sleep.

The hotel had a superb location near Lices market and plenty of cafes. My room was very comfortable and spacious, well-equipped with air conditioning and a mini fridge. Staff were professional and attentive. I appreciated the 24-hour reception service, always a bonus when traveling. Noise pollution from nearby bars was an issue at times, especially on a Monday night. I faced some issues with Wi-Fi connectivity , frustrating. A solid experience with great staff and location, but certain aspects need serious attention.

Very good location - on the Des Lices square in the center. Breakfast was not bad, though it was strictly limited to what the hostess puts on the table. In spite of central location the room window looked onto internal yard so not noisy. Public parking (not free) almost under the hotel.
Elevator starts between ground and first floor. The room is small, bathroom facilities very simple. On check-in the guy didn't speak single word in English, though tried to help.

The location was perfect, located in the centre of the city with an ample (paid) car park next door. Good sound proofing in the room and a/C. Excellent price, and a good base to discover the city.
Small lift, but other than that it was good.

Rooms feature comfortable single beds with decent amenities like a mini fridge and air conditioning for warmer days.
Thin walls allowed noise from nearby bars to intrude late into the night, significantly disrupting sleep quality.

Great location, adequate room, and very helpful staff.
The lift begins one flight up from checkin, so you have to schlep bags up stairs. The center of Rennes can be difficult to navigate, and a GPS does not know about blocked-off streets.
